As I have said in the past my favourite feed reader is feedonfeeds. The one this that has always been missing from feedonfeeds was a nice spangly UI. Thankfully it seems that some people have taken up the challenge and feedonfeeds-redux has been born. Looking at the UI redesign info it seems the spangly UI is coming soon! websitesasgraphs
This is a meme that is really interesting. Generating a graph of your website based on the tags used in the content. It is quite interesting to see the differences between a simple page containing very little markup like the front page for my domain as shown below compared to the amount of markup found in this blog.
Go to http://www.aharef.info/2006/05/websites_as_graphs.htm to read more about the graphs or visit the graph generator here. Then post your graph on your blog or on flickr taged as websitesasgraphs
Image hotlinking bad!
I have avoided blocking image hot linking for a long time as I didn’t ever think it would be necessary. However it seems users of the wonderful myspace.com have taken a liking to some of my images and started hot linking them from their pages. As such I have decided to block hot linking of my images using a simple set of Apache rewrite rules in the .htaccess file for this site.
coComment
The new kid on the block coComment is getting a lot of buzz at the moment. It’s invite only at present but I registered this morning an an invite code was winging it’s way to me within the hour. First impressions are good.
The ability to keep track of all those blog posts that I’ve commented on is something I’ve wanted to be able to do easily for a while. (via Climb to the Stars and Weblog Tools Collection)
